Course Description
Examines the ethical, social, and policy implications of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Topics include data privacy, algorithmic bias, automation and labor, intellectual property, environmental implications, and global governance frameworks. Students analyze real-world cases involving AI deployment and develop ethical reasoning strategies for professional practice. Emphasis is placed on equity, transparency, and the responsible use of AI in education, healthcare, and business. Students explore classical philosophical and theological ethical traditions and apply them to contemporary issues involving artificial intelligence and technology.
